Building a home in a classic method, includes a solid foundation and set plans for construction. For this container bin home development, the foundation area will be cleared for the container bin dimensions. Estimates will be a large 100' X 100' square space. The house will be an L shape with main entrance(s) facing the east. That will be directed to the eastern direction mountains. Eastern direction doorways are essential for Navajo cultural norms. This home will be solar-powered, and house a year-round greenhouse.
Interior of home will have open spaces within four 40'ft. x 10ft. container bins. Two container bins will be welded together facing EAST-WEST directions, while the other two container bins will be welded together facing NORTH-SOUTH directions. Where the four container bins aren't connected, two 20ft. x 10.ft container bins will fit into that square open space.
Set 15+ yards east from the house site, will be an area of raised garden beds. The exterior of this area will have 6+ ft. tall deer fence wrapped around the entire raised garden beds area. 2+ feet deep trench outside the exterior will be lined with chicken wire and protective layers to keep burrowing animals out. Inside the fenced area will be rows of raised garden beds wrapping from the entrance, around to the entrance. The center of this fenced area will house growing flowers and peach/apple trees.
Crop field is located closer to the highway, where much water runoff pools. Method for crops will be with a tractor to turn the soil. Indigenous methods to grow vegetables, and pollinators will be utilized in this section.
